“ABOUT ME”

I’m Kendall J. Johnson, a 17-year-old multi-talented athlete located in the Tampa, Florida area. Since I could walk, I spent most of my day running, jumping, climbing, flipping; if it challenged my body, I did it. I fell in love with football at age 4 playing every position on the field except offensive & defensive lineman. Because God blessed with supportive parents, a natural athletic ability, and a drive for perfection; I can excel in whatever sport you bring my way.  With the help of my dad, I was able to develop a strong throwing arm playing Quarterback and the ability to kick 65-yard field goals. I can also do a ‘Lil something on the basketball court, too.

I currently attend Zephyrhills Christian Academy, where I study hard, am focused, and participating in the athletics program of course. In football, my positions are Kicker, Receiver, Safety, and Back-up Quarterback; however I play where I’m needed.  I will be playing basketball for the first time this season on our high school team and looking forward to this new challenge.  Last school year I attended Tampa Bay Tech High School where I studied in their business program.  There I played on the football team for 2 years and also participated for the first time ever in Track & Field where I qualified in three of my four events to go to the district championships; I ended up placing 4^th in the district for the High Jump Event.

I thank and recognize God for ALL of my gifts and accomplishments. Without Him, nothing I do would be possible.  My church home is Rivers of Life Church Ministries in Brandon, FL where I participate in the Teen and Mime Ministries.  I thank the Lord for keeping me humble and grounded.

My goal is to achieve a Full Scholarship to play football at the college of my choice, giving me the opportunity to study business while doing what I love. I am feeling very confident this year in football, and eager to exercise my growth both on and off the field through athleticism and sportsmanship.

So, when you come out to show your support and witness greatness in the making, just be ready to yell, “LET’S GO WARRIORS!!!!!!”
